The Silca Soil Grid is a heavy duty, linking grid that allows you to build stronger hardscape by stabilizing the base material. Up to 50% base reduction in excavation. Up to 30% labor cost savings. Wider pin-point load dispersal. Reduced warranty call-backs from sinking and shifting. Reduced settling issues. Sustainable, efficient, and profitable. Heavy duty and permeable base stabilization.

Our SilcaMat ™ is a permeable, rubber underlayment that can be installed on top of the SilcaGrate™ and underneath the porcelain, stone or or other pavers. SilcaMat ™ reduces the sliding and horizontal movement of pavers during installation, as well as deadens sound for the finished floor. Because of its unique, pervious design, it still allows for moisture to drain. Each roll can provide coverage for up to 200 square feet.

When using the SilcaMat™, our SilcaSpacers would typically not be used. Instead, we recommend using an interior tile spacer to space the porcelain. The SilcaMat ™ is resistant to mold, bacteria, fungi and is extremely stable in both cold and hot climates. It’s also eco-friendly because it’s made from 94% recycled rubber.
